After completing our first draft of our trailer it was clear that we need to make some improvements before it would be the professional and effective trailer that we wanted it to be. This is the list of improvements to be made that we received from feedback:
1. Add in another shot of the bottle falling
2. Cut down the party scene so that there is less focus and pace is built
3. Add in any missing shots and finish the time-lapse
4. Add music to the party scene
5. Add in more shot variation
We decided to take into consideration all of this feedback as we believed from this we would create a much more effective and comprehensive piece of media. We arranged some more filming days so that we could create another bottle shot to help that scene flow better. We also added in an over the shoulder shot of Oli looking at his phone to increase the variation of shot types. From doing this, as well as adding in the missing shots and some extra footage, we have created a much more dynamic piece that flows well. This means the narrative is portrayed in a much more effective way to the target audience. When it came to adding the music for the party scene we decided to create the music ourselves on garageband. This meant that we weren't limited by copyright laws and we could create an effective piece of music that fit with the beat and rhythm that we wanted instead of having to edit our piece to fit with an existing piece of music.
